Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (2026) is an American action thriller film written and directed by Bassam Tariq. The film stars Mahershala Ali, John Cho, Giancarlo Esposito, Abubakr Ali, Tramell Tillman, Tiffany Boone, and Laith Nakli. Amazon MGM Studios launched the film in the U.S. on September 25, 2026, following its debut at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. A worldwide release began in October 2026, with a Canadian release on October 2, 2026.
The story follows Latif, a former military hitman who works for security specialist Mike Mahmoudi. After receiving a call from his daughter Fatiha, Latif learns that his wife and her mother have died suddenly. He returns to Houston for the funeral, where he reunites with his family, including his daughter Aziza. Aziza cannot digest formula, which becomes a central concern.
Latif visits a local mosque to find a source of breast milk. During his visit, he encounters Mike and his niece Hatty, who operates a porn studio centered on Muslim themes. Latif is told by Mike that Hwan Yoon, a prominent Christian figure, intends to kill Hatty, accusing the studio of being a cover for human trafficking. Mike orders Latif to kill Hwan to prevent the attack.
Latif learns that Fugazi, a former employee of Hatty’s, is lactating and agrees to feed Aziza. He seeks a prescription from his brother Talib, a physician assistant, to take to a milk bank. However, the bank is closed when he returns. Out of desperation, Latif drives to Hatty’s mansion and demands Fugazi be brought to him.
Hatty initially refuses, only agreeing after Latif kills Hwan and threatens Latif’s children. Latif overpowers Hatty and handcuffs him, then guides him to a strip club where Fugazi works. While Fugazi feeds Aziza, Hwan enters the room and reveals that the strip club has become a church. He says Fugazi became a follower after leaving Hatty. Hwan thanks Latif, believing he has brought Hatty to be killed. Latif then fights Hwan and his men, takes back Aziza from Fugazi, and reunites with an escaped Hatty.
Later, Latif, his children, and Hatty sit at a restaurant to break the fast. Hwan pursues the group and seizes Hatty. Once dropped off at home by Abdul Malik, Latif’s imam, Latif declares their journey will head to Mexico. Upon learning that Mike and his men have arrived at their apartment complex, Latif prepares to confront them.
