You Can See Everything (2026): a documentary on Elizabeth Holmes' final days before prison.

Key points
You Can See Everything (2026) is a documentary film directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. It follows Elizabeth Holmes, founder of the defunct health tech company Theranos, and her partner Billy Evans, as they invite filmmakers to document their lives in the weeks before Holmes begins serving a federal prison sentence for defrauding investors.
Thirty-four days prior to her eleven-year prison term starting in 2023, Holmes and Evans invited Fielder and Oppenheim to film their daily lives at a beach house in San Diego. Fielder was given significant access, including filming Evans in the shower, but grew suspicious of their transparency. Holmes denied intentionally misleading investors, claiming she has never told a lie. She and Evans continued making calls to prospective investors about 'Theranos 2.0'. Evans exhibited controlling behavior, frequently speaking for Holmes and interrupting interviews.
When Fielder played Holmes clips from The Dropout—where Amanda Seyfried portrays her—Holmes felt uneasy and requested to halt viewing. Before reporting to prison, Holmes had her body 3D-scanned and expressed discomfort about her image being misused. She reported to Federal Prison Camp Bryan to begin her sentence, saying goodbye to Fielder. Evans and her two children moved to Texas to be closer to her.
Two years later, Fielder met with Seyfried, who reprises her role as Holmes to recreate moments Fielder could not film. Fielder presented the footage and recounted a pre-filming meeting in which, once Holmes exited, Evans proposed a payment arrangement for the documentary. A compromise was reached even though potential conflicts of interest were raised. However, Holmes later told Fielder she would not receive any money. This leads Fielder and Seyfried to believe Evans is exploiting Holmes, though Fielder expresses uncertainty about Holmes's truthfulness.
The film premiered as a secret screening at the 53rd Telluride Film Festival on September 6, 2026. Attendees were unaware of what film they would see and were required to surrender mobile devices to prevent leaks. The film was quickly added to the 2026 New York Film Festival lineup, screening on September 30. It closes the 2026 Stockholm International Film Festival on November 26. The film was theatrically released in the United States and Canada on October 16, 2026, and in the United Kingdom and Ireland on November 20, 2026.
The film has a budget of $7 million. As of October 17, 2026, its worldwide box office gross is $1.8 million. It was released alongside Whalefall, Street Fighter, and Sense and Sensibility in the U.S. and Canada.
